Politics Week – Update November 24, 2008

Our event tonight with Ross Finnie will be taking place in the Bridie Library in the GUU at 6:30. We’ll have drinks and snacks available, and GUST are filing the event. See you there!

Politics Week! November 20, 2008

We’ve got a couple of great events planned for politics week (24th-30th November)!

On Monday 24th we’re really lucky to have Ross Finnie, MSP for the West of Scotland and Shadow Minister for Health here to speak about Mental Health and Addiction. Ross is well known in the party for his barnstorming speeches, so this is an event not to miss! It’s provisionally booked for 6:30 in the Williams Room, John Mac Building, but this could change – check out the facebook event to keep up to date.

On Thursday 27th we have Liam MacArthur, MSP for Orkney and Environment Spokesperson, and Katy Gordon, PPC for Glasgow North to talk to us about how the Credit Crunch will affect Green issues. If you’re concerned about the environment, this is a must. The venue isn’t set yet, but we’ll keep you posted here and on the facebook group.

We’ll have free drinks and snacks at both these events, so come along!
